Friendly and professional Food and Beverage service in the Restaurant to the complete satisfaction of the guest, keeping in compliance with the MK Hotels Standards

4. Qualifications
• Experience: Minimum of two years of experience in similar positions
• Education: High School degree, high cultural level
• Languages: High Proficiency in English (speaking), Second Language  is an advantage
• Computer Literature: POS Soft

6. Duties & Responsibilities
In all actions the Bar and Restaurant Waiter must respect and adhere to the goals, values, principles and conditions determined by the philosophy of Mk Hotels

7. Key Tasks 
• Responsible for guest service at the Bar, Restaurant and Terrace Area
• Preparing the daily Mise-en-place
• Maintenance of all Food and Beverage equipment used at the Bar Restaurant and Terrace Area
• Maintaining the proper hygiene, cleanliness and order in the Bar Restaurant and Terrace Area
• Proper welcoming of all guests in the Bar, Restaurant and Terrace Area
• Assisting and collaborating  with other Department’s if needed
• Serving food and beverage to the clients in order to the Hotel Standards
• Answering the phone and taking room service orders and serving in order to the standards
• Maintaining the proper personal hygiene and uniform during the job
• Fulfilling the tasks given from the FBSS and FBSM
• Handling complaints with care, respecting the guests’ opinion and finding the best solution
• Preparing bills for the guests, respecting the payment rules
• Correct accounting and elaboration of bills
• Responsible for the shift settlement of the Cash Desk
• Proper set up of tables and service stations
• Preparing the breakfast buffet and serving breakfast to the guests
• Proper set up of restaurant or any event ares for different events organized (wedding, cocktails, half board etc.)
• Serving during different events like weddings, cocktails, dinner or lunch, half board, catering service etc.
• Coordinating  between the kitchen and restaurant for a better service toward the clients

8. Abilities
• Ability to perform job functions with attention to detail, speed and accuracy; prioritize, organize and follow up all job related duties; follow directions thoroughly and maintain good judgment and attitude while resolving problems; maintain punctual attendance and work with minimal supervision

9. Other demands
• Due to the nature of the hotel industry, the employee may be required to work varying schedules reflective of the needs of the hotel
• Attendance to all scheduled training sessions and meeting is required
• Upon employment, all employees must fully comply with MKHT rules and regulations for the safe and effective operation of the hotel and its facilities
• Employees who violate rules and regulations will be subject to disciplinary action, up to and including the termination of employment
• The employee must be well informed of:
o Hotel Fire, Bomb and Emergency procedures
o Hotel health and safety policies or procedures
o Hotel facilities and nearby sights of interest and importance (i.e hospitals, stations, tourist sights)
o Current licensing relating to own department
o Short and long term marketing and promotional programs of corporate and the hotel
o Corporate clients and clients generating high business volume
• All employees must maintain a neat, clean and well-groomed appearance per MKHT standards
